Lansing, Mich. – The Tri-County Regional Planning Commission (Tri-County) is pleased to introduce their newest addition, Kristine Norton, as the agency's administrative assistant and commission clerk. Norton will provide clerical support to agency staff, committees, office operations, and the executive director. She is also responsible for record-keeping, developing meeting minutes and materials, adhering to parliamentary procedures and meeting protocols, and file management.
Norton, a Lansing, Michigan native, brings extensive experience in program coordination, highlighted by her 21-year tenure with Prevention Network. She is most proud of the role of Program Coordinator, where she successfully managed statewide initiatives, planned and executed large-scale events, and led her steering committee into multifaceted projects. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Norton has made significant contributions to her community as Vice President of the Park Meadows Condominium Association, where she played an active and committed role in community wellbeing.
“I am thrilled to join the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission and contribute to their mission of enhancing the community through collaborative planning and development,” said Kristine Norton. “I look forward to supporting the team, streamlining processes, and ensuring our Board of Commissioners operates smoothly and efficiently.”
