The Greater Lansing Regional Committee for Stormwater Management (GLRC) is issuing a Request for Proposals for conducting a statistically valid mail/phone/web-based survey of citizens residing within the urbanized portions of the Looking Glass River, Red Cedar River, and Grand River Watersheds.
The water quality education survey is being conducted to gather information that will help assess the effectiveness of regional and local public education/outreach activities aimed at protecting surface water resources in the Greater Lansing Region. The results of the survey will be used to craft targeted information campaigns regarding water quality issues and measure changes in reported behavior compared to the GLRC’s 2006, 2012, and 2018 Regional Water Quality Surveys (www.mywatersheds.org/water-quality-surveys). A comprehensive approach to gathering this information will allow the GLRC to reassess its region-wide strategy for educating citizens about stormwater management and water quality issues.
Interested candidates’ submissions should include a concise statement of the consultant's approach to the project and a summary of the consultant's ability to provide the required services.
