The Tri-County Regional Planning Commission (Tri-County), the designated Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Lansing/East Lansing Metropolitan Area in Michigan, is seeking responses from qualified vendors to develop, maintain, and service a regional online data portal that is utilized for regional transportation and economic development planning purposes.
The portal will aggregate workforce, economic, and demographic data for the tri-county region and up to 10 additional select surrounding counties into one central website. The data is expected to be updated as new government data is released.
Licensing will allow for viewing by the general public, and/or be password protected as is determined necessary.
The portal will be designed as a standalone website with the capability to be imbedded in the Tri-County website.
The dashboard will include data for Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties. Additionally, Shiawassee County will be included to complete analysis for the MSA. In addition to the core counties noted, an additional 10 counties may be included to provide the ability to capture the entire economic influence area. The ability to show comparisons to the entire state of Michigan, the Midwest, and the entirety of the United States may be required. View the RFP here.
