Mid-Michigan Water Authority

The Mid-Michigan Water Authority (MMWA) was created as a result of Act No. 292 of the Michigan Public Acts of 1989. Its purpose is to plan, finance, or contract for public improvements and services of regional public water supply systems; to contract with participating or non-participating entities; to provide or receive services; to promote educational activities related to services provided; and to facilitate planning for the protection of regional water sources.
