About the Event
The Tri-County Regional Planning Commission (Tri-County) is soliciting public comments on the region’s four-year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for fiscal years 2026 through 2029 beginning February November 5th. People who live or work in Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties are invited to comment on proposed transportation projects anticipated to invest over $370 million in the Greater Lansing region.
Our transportation options and the quality of our infrastructure affect everyone’s quality of life. From our roads, highways, and public transit system to our bicycle and pedestrian pathways, the TIP is the region’s short-range capital improvements program for all transportation projects funded by federal dollars in the tri-county region.
The public comment period on the proposed TIP projects is November 5 – November 21, 2024. To encourage involvement, Tri-County is offering a public meeting on Tuesday, November 5th. At the public meeting, Tri-County staff will guide interested residents through the TIP development…
